Pinterest Rolls Out Editable Board Covers
Have you noticed when looking at your boards on Pinterest that the the largest pinned picture has always been the last pin that was pinned for that particular board? Today, April 5th, Pinterest has updated their website with a minor upgrade that now allows a user to select which pin will be displayed as the board cover.
Pinterest has become so popular in part because it allows users to express their own personal expressions and style by pinning web pages and images that they find interesting. Millions have come to use Pinterest to share coupons, fashion, decorating, wedding ideas, crafts, and more with friends family and any other users that finds their pinning interesting.
Quote from Pinterest today:
“One of the most requested features was the ability to choose a pin to be the cover for each board,” Pinterest said in a blog post on the update. Today, you’ll be able to do just that.”
This update, that is live now, is as simple to learn as clicking a “Like” button. As Pinterest users move their mouse over their boards they are offered an “edit board cover” button that they can click. This will allow the user to pick a favorite pin to highlight and designate as the “cover”. The board cover option also enables users to drag images around to better allow for a well designed placement.
As we find or hear about more advances in the development of Pinterest we will be sure to pass them along. Please feel free to comment below if you are aware of any other new or nifty Pinterest features.
